After coming in second, the third team lost a play-off and so were destined to remain in Division 3. However a league restructuring moved them up to Division 2, where they will need to play hard to survive. New fixtures/results. New league tables.

The club championship finished this year with 3 players on equal points.

There had not been a pre-arranged tie-break method nor a play-off format.

The players agreed between themselves to have an all-play-all 1 round allegro, 20 minutes plus 5 seconds increment.

The club championship, organised by Jim, is a 5 round Swiss tournament with rounds being drawn by the Vega system. Time controls will be the same as the Edinburgh League long form (34/85mins + 20 min allegro) or incremental (85mins + 20sec). The incremental controls will have to be agreed by both players.

Though in 2nd place most of the season, we finished 3rd after dropping 5 points out of 6 in our last 3 matches. It's been 10 years since we were last champions. Results and tables.

A hard 2024/25 season in Division 1 saw the Dragons second team fighting for the title but only getting second place. We lost out in the promotion battle and remain in Division 1. We normally do well in this division but some of our strength is required in the Premier Division. New league tables.
