The club championship, organised by Jim, was a 6-round Swiss. After a 1st round hiccup Mark stormed back to win his 11th title while Walter and Richard shared joint 2nd.

Jim had pressure but allowed Mark to wriggle out and thus become this season's champion. Walter and Richard both won to secure joint 2nd place. Due to previous withdrawals, both Chris and Donald got a bye in this round.

The first round was quite dramatic with IM Mark Orr losing out to Dave Wallace. Jim and Elliot struggled against lower graded Fraser and Donald but pulled through eventually. One tie from this round (Chris-Richard) was postponed to 23 Jan.
